Years ago when I still lived in Iran, I first started studying directing films. I have had wonderful mentors such as, Kambuzia Partovi, and Mani Haghighi. So Cinema's storytelling is very primary and dear to me. I have always craved to make more films and explore Image and storytelling.
Here are my two last short films,
ZADE HASN’T BEEN HOME IN YEARS. HIS BEST FRIEND, HARRY, NEVER LEFT. AS THEY REUNITE AT THEIR CHILDHOOD BEACH, HOW MUCH CAN THIS FRIENDSHIP HOLD?
“The beauty of this story lies where their desire to love clashes with how society expects and asks men to perform versions of manhood. SWIMMING lingers on the silence between the characters, the breath that wants to say I love you, and the need for touch.”

In the loneliness of this life
There are not many people that you can hold in your embraces
mourning for your country
hear in your ear,
“it is OK! I’m here. Everything is going to be all right!”
