With New York City theatres being on pause this year, we continue to find new ways to bring theatre, music and dance to our communities. As we believe in the necessity of art for society and can feel the desire for even a glimpse of theatrical magic in our lives, we are honored to introduce to you, Glimpse.
Glimpse Festival is a celebration of life, joy, and new beginnings within the community through art of storytelling, music, dance and more. Glimpse brings ancient stories from different countries around the world all together in a moment in the park. Shahrzad, the host of the show and the ancient storyteller with her other friends arrive in the town to tell stories, to invite everyone to laugh, dance and share .
Glimpse includes four major outdoor performances all created and curated by Immigrant artists, who invite everyone to join us in Prospect Park, Peninsula field on June 6th. Glimpse's team of artists from all around the world will bring unique aesthetics to the neighborhood - From Children fairy tales to authentic Middle Eastern music, we share our own culture with our new home.
Glimpse was created in collaboration with Rattlestick Theatre and New York Theatre Salon.
